What is the OM Migration Tool?

The OM Migration Tool is the ONLY secure way to migrate your ERC-20 OM tokens to MANTRA Chain. It allows you to:
  • Transfer any amount of ERC-20 OM tokens
  • Receive 1:1 MANTRA Chain OM tokens
  • Pay only Ethereum gas fees (no bridging fees)
  • Maintain full control of your tokens (no custody)

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:
  1. EVM-Compatible Wallet: An EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.) connected to the Ethereum network with ERC-20 OM tokens
  2. MANTRA Chain Wallet: A MANTRA Chain Cosmos-enabled wallet (Keplr or Leap) where you’ll receive your new OM tokens

Step 1: Prepare Your Wallets

EVM-Compatible Wallet

Ensure you have an EVM-compatible wallet like:
  • MetaMask
  • Rabby
  • Other EVM-compatible wallets
Make sure it’s connected to the Ethereum network and contains your ERC-20 OM tokens.

MANTRA Chain Wallet

Create or ensure you have access to a MANTRA Chain wallet:

Step 2: Connect Your Wallets

  1. Open the OM Migration Tool interface
  2. Connect your EVM-compatible wallet (MetaMask, Rabby, etc.)
  3. Connect your MANTRA Chain wallet (Keplr or Leap)
Once both wallets are connected, the interface will show:
  • The amount of ERC-20 OM tokens in your Ethereum wallet
  • Your MANTRA Chain wallet address where tokens will be received

Step 3: Initiate Migration

  1. Enter Amount: Specify how many tokens you’d like to transfer (you can migrate any amount)
  2. Review Details: Check that:
    • The amount is correct
    • Your MANTRA Chain wallet address is correct
    • You understand the terms and conditions
  3. Accept Terms: Review and accept the terms of use and privacy policy
  4. Confirm Transaction: Confirm the transaction in your EVM wallet
Irreversible Process: The ERC-20 OM tokens you transfer will be burned on the Ethereum network. This process is irrecoverable. Make sure you have the correct MANTRA Chain wallet address before confirming.

Step 4: Monitor Your Migration

Once submitted, the system will automatically verify your migration transaction on the Ethereum network. This process ensures that your transaction includes:
  • The correct contract address for your ERC-20 OM tokens
  • The Ethereum burn address
  • A valid MANTRA Chain wallet address for receiving your new tokens
You can monitor the status of your migration order in the migration tool interface.

Step 5: Receive Your MANTRA Chain Tokens

You will receive an equivalent amount of MANTRA Chain OM tokens once the transaction has been verified by the system. The tokens will appear in your connected MANTRA Chain wallet.

Security Features

The OM Migration Tool ensures security through:
  1. No Custody: The tool does not have custody of your tokens
  2. Token Burning: ERC-20 OM tokens are sent to the official Ethereum burn address
  3. Read-Only Ledger: MANTRA Chain uses a read-only ledger to verify transactions
  4. Two-Wallet System: Requires both EVM and MANTRA Chain wallets for enhanced security
