What are LP tokens?

Pool tokens, or liquidity provider (LP) tokens, are issued when you provide liquidity to a liquidity pool which represent your share in the pool. LP tokens serve as proof of the amount of liquidity you have provided, allowing you to claim your deposited tokens.
