Stake User Guide

Before you can start staking $OM, you need to ensure your MANTRA wallet is connected to the staking interface.
1) Prepare your wallet
Make sure you have a MANTRA Chain wallet. Using your wallet you can stake your $OM coins and receive rewards.
2) Connect your wallet
Once ready, connect your MANTRA wallet to the staking interface by clicking on the wallet connection button. Select your wallet from the available options, including Leap and Keplr.


Now that your wallet is connected, follow these steps to stake your $OM coins.
1) Pick a validator
You can view a list of active validators along with their details such as commission rates, APR, and staking volume. Choose a validator you want to stake with.

Alternatively, if you have already staked with a validator, hover over it in your staking positions and click "Stake More".

2) Input the amount to stake
Enter the amount of $OM you wish to stake. Review your balance, staking position, and the validator's details to help you decide how much to stake.

3) Accept Risk Disclaimers, Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy
Make sure to accept the risk disclaimers, terms and conditions and privacy policy before proceeding.

4) Approve the transaction
Confirm the staking transaction in your wallet.
5) View the confirmation message
A confirmation message will appear, providing transaction details, including a transaction hash. You can use the hash to view your transaction in the explorer.

6) View updated staking position
Your new staking position will be visible in your staking dashboard, reflecting the latest update.

You can easily claim your $OM rewards in the Staking dashboard.
1) Decide to claim all or from a specific validator
To claim all rewards, click the "Claim" button in the Staking dashboard under the rewards section (this will be enabled if you have Claimable rewards).

To claim from a specific validator, hover over your staking position with that validator and select "Claim Rewards".

2) Review claim summary
You'll see a summary of the claim details, including which validators the rewards are from. You also have the option to re-stake your claimed rewards for further gains. If you decide to stake, simply click the Claim & Stake button and follow the staking process.

3) Approve the transaction
Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
4) View the confirmation message
A confirmation message with transaction details, including the transaction hash, will be displayed.

Easily transfer your staked $OM from one validator to another.
1) Select validator to redelegate from
Hover over your staking positions to choose the validator you want to redelegate from.

2) Choose new validator
Pick a new validator from the list, using details like commission, APR, and staking volume to guide your decision.


3) Input the amount to redelegate
Enter the amount to redelegate, and review your current staking position and the validator's details.

4) Approve the transaction
Confirm the redelegation transaction in your wallet.
5) View the confirmation message
The confirmation message will show your transaction details, including the transaction hash for viewing in the explorer.

6) View updated staking position
Your new staking position with the new validator will be updated in your staking dashboard.

If you want to unstake your $OM coins, follow these steps.
1) Pick validator to unstake from
Hover over your staking positions to choose the validator from which you want to unstake.

2) Input the amount to unstake
Decide how much $OM you want to unstake. Review your current staking position, balance, and validator details. Remember, unstaking is subject to an unbonding period, which is the time that is take for your funds to become available in your wallet.

3) Approve the transaction
Confirm the unstake transaction in your wallet.
4) View the confirmation message
You’ll see a confirmation message with details about the transaction, including the transaction hash.

5) View unbonding position
Your unbonding position will now be visible in your dashboard, including the estimated completion date.

If you wish, you can cancel the unbonding position and re-stake your funds to the same validator by hovering over your unbonding position and selecting "Cancel Unbonding".
